Charity Kayak Event - Charity Yakkers Auckland to Tauranga

Calling all kayakers - we need your support.

Join the Charity Yakkers on the last leg of their 9 day paddle from Auckland to Tauranga on the 9th - 17th March 2013.

We are keen to organise an on/off water welcoming party on Sunday 17th March (St.Patricks Day) at Pilot Bay/on the Mount and for those that are keen, perhaps to join them wit the paddle from Whangamata to Waihi the day before and then from Waihi to Tauranga on the Sunday (17th).

This is open to all kayakers (members/non members) as we want to show the nation the strength of our kayaking community in Tauranga and our support for such a good cause, so please tell your family, friends, work colleages etc to get in touch.

If you are keen to lend your support or get involved in any way (kayaking, promotion, advertising etc) please get in touch.

This is a really good cause and one we want all kayakers to support.

Check out Kim and his team's route as they paddle in fishing sit-ons and sea kayaks from Auckland to Tauranga to raise funds for those less fortunate than ourselves and to give them the opportunities they deserve. Donations can be made to the Charity Yakkers pease go to.....
